Re-heating Instructions

Spring Packaged Meal Reheating Instructions

Please keep in mind that oven temperatures will vary and all items should not go into the oven straight from the refrigerator; allow to sit on the counter for 25 – 30 minutes. 

 

Breakfast Items

Bagel Bombs – Wrap in a paper towel and if frozen microwave on high for 1 minute and 15 seconds, if thawed microwave on high for 35 – 40 seconds.

Frittatas – Place in pre-heated oven @ 325° for 12 – 15 minutes covered with foil; can be re-heated in microwave on a low temp (power 3 or 4) for 30 seconds.

Breakfast Strata and Migas Strata – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 20 – 25 minutes covered with foil.

Can be re-heated in the microwave for 1 minute, covered with a damp paper towel.

French Toast Strata – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 15 minutes covered and then 10 – 15 minutes uncovered. Should not be re-heated in microwave

Muffins/Coffee Cake – No re-heating necessary; May be microwaved for 15 seconds.

Bacon – Place in oven pre-heated at 350° on a foil lined tray for 5 – 10 minutes.  Can be microwaved for 20 seconds at a time on a microwave safe plate with paper towels underneath and on top of bacon

Appetizers

Queso Blanco with Housemade Tostada Chips – Place in microwavable dish and microwave/stir in 30 second intervals.

Bacon-wrapped Shrimp – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 3 – 4 minutes, turning on the opposite side for an additional 2 – 3 minutes.

Quesadilla – Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, spray pan with oil or add a teaspoon of oil and spread in the pan, add quesadilla to the pan and cook for approximately 1 minute or until the tortilla is golden brown and cheese is melting, then carefully turn over towards the folded side of the quesadilla to prevent cheese from spilling out and cook for an additional minute until the other side is golden brown.

Dinners

Braised Beef Short Ribs & Creamy Polenta- Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 18 – 20 minutes, covered with foil.

Buttered Noodles & Brussels Sprouts – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 10 – 12 minutes, covered with foil.

Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 20 – 25 minutes, covered with foil.

Steamed Broccoli – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 4 – 6 minutes covered.

King Ranch Casserole – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 20 – 25 minutes, covered with foil.

Black Beans – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 10 – 12 minutes, covered with foil.

Pork Tenderloin – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 8 – 12 minutes covered.

Allow meat to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.  Serve with Cider Reduction.

Mac & Cheese – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 20 – 25 minutes, covered with foil.

Shrimp & Grits – Place in pre-heated @ 350° covered with foil for 10 – 12 minutes.  Remove from oven and add shrimp and tabasco butter.  Re-cover in foil and place back in oven for 6 – 8 minutes.

Wilted Spinach – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 6 – 8 minutes covered.

 

Trout – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 4 – 6 minutes covered and an additional 2 – 3 minutes uncovered.

Rice Pilaf and Snap Peas – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 6 – 8 minutes covered.

Chicken Dijonnaise & Buttered New Potatoes – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 10 – 14 minutes covered.

Sautéed Green Beans – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 6 – 8 minutes covered.

Filet of Salmon – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 6 – 8 minutes covered.
Quinoa Salad
– Should be served room temperature.

Beef Medallion – Remove foil & sauce from pan, then place in pre-heated oven @ 400° for 7 -9 minutes for medium rare, thermometer should read 125 – 130 degrees; For medium to medium well allow to cook an additional 4 – 6 minutes, thermometer should read 140 – 150 degrees; Allow meat to rest for 5 minutes on the counter and temp will rise 5 more degrees.

Mashed Potatoes – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 20 – 25 minutes, covered with foil.

Roasted Asparagus – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 6 – 8 minutes covered.

Baked Lasagna – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 25 – 30 minutes, covered with foil.

Garlic Bread – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 6 – 8 minutes, covered with foil.

Whole Roasted/Braised Chicken & Mashed Potatoes – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 18 to 20 minutes.

Sautéed Green Beans – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350° for 6 – 8 minutes covered.

“Build Your Own Tacos”
Mahi-Mahi & Rice – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350 for 6 – 8 minutes covered.

Tortillas – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350 for 5 minutes wrapped in foil.

Cilantro Lime-Beurre Blanc – Spoon on top of fish or beef a couple of minutes before removing from the oven to eat.

Carne Asada, Adobo Pork and Black Bean Refrito – Place in pre-heated oven @ 350 for 10 – 12 minutes covered.
